Anjali S. Kharod, JD

Anjali S. Kharod, JD, is an associate attorney with Health Care Law Associates, P.C. and a consultant with Health Care Consulting. Ms. Kharod regularly advises physicians on their inter-doctor arrangements, employment agreements compensation plans, new physician recruitment plans, merger plans, and regulatory obligations under HIPAA, Medicare, Stark, and other federal and state requirements.

Ms. Kharod joined The Health Care Group from Saul Ewing, LLP, where she was in the Health Law Practice Group. Ms. Kharod brings her background in corporate regulatory and general medical legal matters to a variety of specialists in all fields. Since her arrival, in addition to broadening her base of knowledge, Ms. Kharod has become particularly experienced with the contractual and business arrangements relating to anesthesiologists, dermatologists, and ophthalmologists. She has also researched and written about the regulatory issues affecting these practice specialties.

Ms. Kharod has written for The Health Care Group’s On Managing and Forecast, and contributed to other publications, including HCPro and other independent publications.

Ms. Kharod graduated with honors from The College of William and Mary and subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law. She is admitted to the State Bar Associations of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
