Cindy R. Becker, JD

Cindy R. Becker, JD, is an associate attorney with Health Care Law Associates, P.C. and a consultant with Health Care Consulting, Inc. Ms. Becker regularly advises physicians on their inter-doctor arrangements, employment agreements, compensation plans, new physician recruitment plans, merger plans, and regulatory obligations under HIPAA, Medicare, Stark, and other federal and state requirements. She has lectured on a variety of topics, including employment, HIPAA Compliance, Medicare, billing & coding issues.

Ms. Becker joined The Health Care Group from Woodruff, Spradlin & Smart where she practiced health and employment law. Ms. Becker brings her background in employment and general medical legal matters to a variety of specialists in all fields. In addition to broadening her base of knowledge, Ms. Becker has become particularly experienced with changing regulatory requirements affecting physicians and their practice specialties.

Ms. Becker has written for a number of independent publications.

Ms. Becker earned her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in Delaware where she graduated with honors. She earned her Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the California Bar.
